Because I expected to see a video quite soon after the pictures appeared!
A few months later I started to think that they have decided not to release it.
And now it appears after a year!
Complete surprise I'd say! :D No complaints though

Hi everyone! My mom bought me the CD through Amazon and she loves it (of course I do, too.) ! She loves it so much that she told some of the girls that work with her about it. My mom ordered it for one of her friends there and is having it be delivered to her house!! A little bit off topic, I know.. but I thought I would let you know about two new fans of the album and of course more fans of Libera! :D

I downloaded the album November 1 and have listened to it several times since then. My first impression was that there was a heavy use of the lower voices on the album, which I like for this particular album. I think it sounds nice to have a "full choir" sound for Christmas carols. Here are a few more thoughts, in no particular order of importance:

1. I adore "Veni, Veni Emanuel" and "Carol of the Bells" and "Sing the Story" (and must give a nod to "Jubilate Deo" as well), and yet it is "Still, Still, Still" that I find running through my mind most frequently!

2. "Coventry Carol" was interesting since it featured a tenor voice as the main solo. However I am curious to know the identity of the low bass voice in the song! And I love the descants by Stefan.

3. Freddie's solo was very cute. I thought the whole sound of "The First Nowell" was almost child-like (at any rate the trebles sounded young to me) and his innocent voice suited the song very well.

4. Speaking of "Sing the Story"--Luke was amazing!!!! And I'm so glad to have a recording of that song since I had only seen it on a Youtube video featuring Michael Horncastle.

5. When Daniel is singing the second verse of "Veni, Veni Emanuel" I wonder who is singing the harmony--maybe Ralph? And who sings the echoey "gaude"s in the background? I'm guessing it's Stefan.

6. Overall it's a good album. I think "Carol of the Bells" and "Veni, Veni Emanuel" sounds the most like Libera's signature sound.

Me too. I had forgot about the pictures until all of this came up.

Lauren, what are you doing up at 1:20am? :? I've been up for nearly 24 hours now due to my wierd work schedule.

Wouldn't be surprised if it is Ralph doing the duet in the album as he was the one who did the duet with Josh in the Philippine concerts. And that second voice sounds "cool" too, which reminds me of Ralph's awesome voice.
