Did you know that "Secret" was originally a romantic French poem written in the 19th century? it was subsequently turned into a romantic (French) song about forbidden love. Sung by Libera though it takes on a somewhat different meaning, perhaps more puppy love-ish.

Yes, I have it as do many others. It is one of their better CDs, though it is difficult to choose. Of the songs on the album I'd have to say I'm most fond of The Secret, Love and Mercy, and You'll Never Be Alone.

I think I'm correct in saying that Joshua Madine wrote You'll Never be Alone.

Anyone here familiar with the groups "Les Anges" and "Vox Angeli"? They're two new French speaking groups, both quite talented. Les Anges is a mixed group from Canada, consisting of 3 boys and 3 girls. They sing a French version of "Going Home" which in my opinion is no...

there are several, Here's another choir, but have no idea who they are but the orchestra is the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, so I'm assuming they are Russian or Eastern European. No, the kids are all Americans. This song was performed for an American TV Christmas special several years ago. The "T...

You need to identify his picture for Kevin so he can have a proper entry in the Chorister section.

It was Adoramus, which I came upon by accident. I had heard a song sung by the group Adeimus. I was wondering what language the song was being sung in, so I decided to look them up in Real Rhapsody. One of the selections produced by my search was 'Adoramus'. I began looking around for other works by...

re: Songs cut from DVD:

You just posted a video of Silent Night shot during the taping of the Leiden concert. Wasn't there a second song recorded during the Leiden concert which wasn't included in the DVD? Is there a chance you might get a clip of that other song and post it on Libera Dreams?

PBS Station? Means it's only aired in US states right? ARGH. Why am I not living in US? Gosh. :( Yes, but PBS stations purchase their programs independently, so there's no guarentee that if the local PBS station records and plays this that other PBS stations would pick it up. Furthermore I'd wonder...

My firsr album was Free, then Luminosa followed by Angel Voices. Visions was never offered locally so I never bought it.

I've seen a compilation of the first 3 Angel Voices albums offered at Barnes and Nobel. It might be a pretty good buy.

I don't try to sing along with them. My voice range is on the opposite end of the scale. For me to try to sing along with them would be an act of desecration.
