With any luck there might also be a behind-the-scenes insight into how it all came about and what happened when they all came together to produce the song.

Looking forward to hearing more about it soon,

Edit: more news here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8540836.stm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sadly no sign of Libera in these pics .. http://www.daylife.com/search/photos/1/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... paul+potts still there's other stars missing there, and they might record over two sessions or something.

I was starting to get a little despondent that maybe Libera had pulled out from contributing on this charity song collaboration. I've seen pictures and references on the net to virtually all the artists involved, but nothing for Libera or Aled Jones.

I've been checking on this chaps twitter http://twitter.com/George_Shilling" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; account. He's been responsible for producing and mixing the song, bringing it all together. Nothing again about Libera.

However just when you lose hope, Libera have now been credited with a part in four lines from the song. Singing with Aled Jones, Camilla Kerslake, and All Angels.

I think Libera must have recorded their parts a few weeks ago. Can't wait to hear and with any luck see the song on March 14th, Mother's Day.

Thank you very much for the link Jimmy ! :D
Despite we have not yet seen any photo with Libera, I really hope they will edit a video and include LIbera in there, mixed with other singers :roll:

You count 4 lines, but I see libera on 6 of them (see here, in red) :)

With you on that. I don't care how much I have to spend(probably will not be much anyway...wonder if we can make a higher donation along with the fee...) I just want to hear this rendition!

I want to hear this. And yay! The Priests are in it, too. I'm also thinking that maybe they weren't there for the recording because if they were, what photographer would pass up the opportunity to photograph cute little kids?

Oh yeah, I must have got carried away with excitement when I counted 4 lines, but 6 is excellent going for Libera. Still wondering if they will harmonise in the backgroud, or will be prominent in singing the lyrics with the other artist(s) they are tagged with.

Yes, quite sure they weren't there. I think they recorded their lines with Aled or in another studio. There wouldn't have been room in the Metropolis studio for all those artists and 25+ Libera boys!! lol

I need to update on my Bond fanaticism....THEY HAVE A NEW GIRL!!! On which instrument? Vln 1, Vln 2, Vla or Cello?....im thinking Vln 1 considering Eos is quite married and motherly right now :shock:

Yeah, Haylie has no longer been in the group, the not-quite-new (she's been around for awhile i guess) girl is Elspeth Hanson.. she plays the violin, 1st violin..since it was Haylie's position before she left.

A blog from the guy who mixed and co-produced the Haiti 'Prayer' song for Classical relief.

http://georgeshilling.com/George_Shilling/Blog.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Confirmation towards the end of the blog that indeed Libera and Aled Jones did record their parts seperately. Probably why there has been a lack of photo's about them.

I wish I knew what time Classic FM were going to play it tomorrow, then I could record it.

Thats a shame then as doubt there will be a promo video for it, in todays world i dont get how they will promote the single without a video. Radio will only give so much exposure.

True, however they did manage to cut a video of the pop haiti charity song, with their REM cover of 'Everybody Hurts' and that was by filming them as they were recording their parts in different studios at different times.

It's very clever what technology can do these days, and it wouldn't be that hard to seamlessly link all the individual parts into a video were it appears that they were all there at the same time.

That's if there will be a video of course. I would hope so, the blog does mention a film crew being there.
