I saw that, but I won't be going. It does sound interesting, but the decision to have 5 separate concerts all at the same time is baffling.

They should at least be in two time slots or ideally spread through the day so you can see all 5!

I have heard three of the choirs live before.

La Maitrise de Sainte-Croix de Neuilly who I saw in L'Olympia, Paris for their 60th anniversary concert. I was front row for that one so I can occasionally spot myself on the recording of the show. Have to be honest and say I didn't enjoy it that much.

Singknaben der St. Ursenkathedrale I heard in the Swiss Church in London. Which is opposite one of my favourite craft beer bars. @Surpinto They were good, but their director has changed since then so no idea what they are like now.

Stuttgarter Hymnus-Chorknaben I also heard in London, they did a joint concert with the Trinity Boys Choir at the Trinity Boys School. I liked them but again that's so long ago I can't tell you what they are like now.

Never heard of Chorus Cathedralis Iuniorum (Turku, Finland) or Dudaryk (Lviv, Ukraine) before.

As for the hosts, they are on my long list of choirs I would like to see, but it won't be this time. Flight/hotel costs, plus this strange Saturday concert setup means I have ruled out going.

I still don't know which of the regional concerts I would have chosen to see. They all seemed to be very well-attended.

Recorded in The St. Alexandria Minster Einbeck, and was part of The Göttingen Boys' Choir's 60th anniversary concert, Oct 1st. Directed by Dmytro Katsal.
