Mozart Requeim 2020

Post by bamboo »

Thanks to Amie, found that Libera is slated to sing for Mozart Requeim in St Philip's Church on 29 March from 7-8pm (http://stphilipsnorbury.org/event/mozart-requiem/). They last sang it in 2016, so I'm sure there'll be many more new soloists now!!! And perhaps new alumni soloists! Anyone planning to go?

I was planning to go but with the way Coronavirus is spreading I can see the U.K. being locked down by then. It’s certainly a grim time for the world.

I was planning to go as well, but now it seems totally impossible because of the current pandemic situation. Yes, I was so excited and was so much looking forward to hearing this classical masterpiece sung by our favourite choir, yet even if there were any possibilities to travel, it would be totally reckless and irresponsibly to move from home at these times.

I hope, there will be another chance one day.

****** Edit *****
Just got an official email from the airline, that my flight to London on 28th March has been cancelled  (as it actually could be expected   ).
