During and after Singing this (one of my Favourites) with my choir, I looked it up on youtube and after watching many of the results, what was I to find but a video of 2 libera choristers of Isaac London and Timothy Lee in what seems to be Westminster cathedral   are they Westminster cathedral choristers also ??? singing was great though :)
sorry I didn't know what thread to put this under :0

This is the probable explanation given the description on the video + being a chorister at at Westminster Cathedral is a full time 'job' requiring boarding - I can't see that they would allow them to sing in another choir as well (St P's), especially an Anglican one! Of course we have had a member of Libera who was a former member of WCC...

What it shows though is the hard work the boys put in; if they do 2 or 3 rehearsals per week for St P's/Libera and a similar number for the school choir + Sunday services, well they are very dedicated and hard working to say the least.

Yes I believe you are right :D wow these boys must be so busy being professional singers and then singing such complicated music with the school liturgical boy choir so well like this ! I don't know how they find the time but I guess it all pays off in the end

Interesting, how was this found out? ! Their loss and our gain  Im sure that libera provide just as good or even better training for boy choristers :D

I have a CD where he is named as one of the choristers This one but I think it was first picked up from a comment made by a relative on a Libera YouTube video.

There is a small picture of the full choir in the sleeve notes of that CD and I have to admit I can't pick him out but he can't have been very old at the time (maybe 9 or so).

There is a thread where this is discussed HERE

Knew that Stephan and Orlando were active in another choir. I didn't know it from Isaac and Timothy - interesting. Must be much work and about 5 times a week in choir rehearsals

Thanks for sharing, I'm not familiar with this piece. Not surprising that Libera boys are invited to sing in other choirs and at other exclusive events... The only surprising thing is how they manage to fit it all in with everything else they do.

That is 100% Alessandro by the way.
