I've created a page for Libera Boys Choir http://www.thegreatexhibition2012.co.uk ... boys-choir" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to be a GREAT of Great Britain. They need your votes to get them up the leaderboard. For example Peterborough Males Voice Choir are the highest placed choir and as great as they are I'm sure with the help of libera's GLOBAL fanbase we can get the South London meastro's higher on that leaderboard.

YOu have to register to vote but you can do it by your Facebook or Twitter profile. You might have to enter some personal information but just pretend or make it up like I did. e.g phone no 012345689 etc..etc...

Once your "Great" reaches 100 votes it is automatically entered into The Great Exhibition 2012 "Best in Britain" Awards programme http://www.thegreatexhibition2012.co.uk ... eat-awards" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; this is designed to celebrate all the "Greats" in Great Britain and will culminate in September with the winners in each category being awarded the accolade "Best in Britain 2012", so make sure you promote your "Great" and get everyone voting.

You can also register with an email address if you wish. You can grab one for free at http://www.mail.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I appreciate it's a bit of a pain registering when you just want to vote, but I'm pleased with the response so far. 70 votes currently, just 30 more they will be automatically entered into the awards programme.

I've not really read too much into it, but I think the awards are based more on virtual recognition than anything else. It's an online campaign to celebrate GREATS of Britain during 2012 with the Jubilee and Olympics coming up. It's been backed by commercial sponsors and celebrities. It should gather some momentum as they approach the 'Live' event in August. So I thought with choirs such as Westminster and Peterborough Male Voice Choir already registered as a GREAT, it was about time 'Libera' were on the list. Cup of Tea is 9th on the overall list, and Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding is 57th.

Nope, it's open to everyone. When you register it will ask you for your country of origin. Very pleased with the response, currently Libera are 93rd in the list (of 1000's) and have 85 votes. Only 15 away from automatic entry into The Great Exhibition 2012 "Best in Britain" Awards.

Cheers everyone, a landmark has been reached. Libera have finally passed 100 votes in The Great Exhibition 2012, Greats of Great Britain rankings. They are currently 79th overall and 16th in the 'Music and Entertainment' catagory, ahead of the likes of Queen, and Coldplay! Please keep voting if you haven't done so already
