cool, i think they will probably not do traditonal music (hymes) because the last choir standing doesnt really have a tradtional choir.
but maybe they will to be differnent i cant wait to find out :D

I have a feeling they will sing 'Sanctus', that song really shows off what they can really do, but hey I guess we will have to just wait and see then...

I'd love that!! But does anybody know if they have ever performed Locus Iste?? :( I don't think they have.... but maybe Sanctus II.... I love Sanctus II because of the slightly more upbeat sound of it!!

I hope someone will be taping it for those of us living on the other side of the big ditch.

BTW, why isn't Libera competing?

"The big ditch" now THAT is clever! :D

"Last Choir Standing" looks like a program for more adult and/or professional choruses. Also, the school year just ended in the U.K. (with their placement tests all messed up by a hapless American company  ), so the group may not have been able to commit the time to get in earlier. It looks like this has been going since early this month (5 July), which would've been right when schools were letting out.

Not sure, just a guess. Too bad I don't get BBC America.

Im sure if Libera did enter, they would take that competition by storm :D

I myself get BBC America and I checked their online schedule for the 27th and was disappointed to see that it will not air. I checked their show list and they have a program called 'Last Restaurant Standing', but not 'Last Choir Standing' :(

That's funny!

Is it a live performance? And only on BBC? Sigh.. I don't have BBC!

I think they should do "Love And Mercy" or "Orinocco Flow".
