Of course not, I wouldn't dare!!
For those who can't make it to Cambridge, they do post their evensongs fairly frequently at https://www.youtube.com/user/NewCollegeChoir/videos.

Wrong city

New College is in Oxford along with Christ Church and Magdalen, all three of whom regularly publish services online. Cambridge choirs, on the other hand, don't seem to...?

Whoops. All those college choirs up there can be confusing.

Depends what you're looking for. Trinity College posts their evensongs but they're an actual college choir. Same with St. Catherine's and Claire.

King's College, which is what everyone will probably want to see, does not -- although they recently posted a boy-produced recruitment series on their channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/KingsCollegeChoir/videos.

I loved those videos, they were so fun, and the "making of" video is worth watching too. :D

I can only recommend Trinity College Choir, I saw them in concert once over here and they are outstanding!

Hi everyone.
Sad news, I won't attend the Libera concert at Ely this year, I have personal buisness that won't allow me to travel at this moment of year. :(

I have a room booked since 2020  The hostel let me change the date twice, due to the concert being postponed. Though now, they won't let me change it or cancel it anymore. So, I asked them if I could "transfer" it to someone that would take the room instead of me, and they said yes.

So, if anyone is interested, I can "transfer" you a room near the Cathedral, at Castle Lodge (50 New Barns Rd, Ely CB7 4PW). It is a private bedroom but shared bathroom, accessible only by stairs. It's only 50 pounds and includes the breakfast. Free wifi :D Let me know if you want it !

See you for the next concert, I guess ?

So sorry to hear that! It must be disappointing to have everything arranged for so long and then to have to cancel it like this. :? Hopefully someone can benefit from your hotel reservation.

I have 2 extra tickets, 1 adult and 1 child (child can be upgraded to adult for a small fee), for the upcoming Ely concert. Seating position is in the front few rows. Do contact me if interested.

Sam Coates interviewed on Cambridge Radio https://cambridge105.co.uk/shows/tony-barnfield/ to promote their upcoming concert. Begins at 1:05

Some useful info, but I wonder what website Mr Barnfield (presenter) was referring to when he said he could look at the history of all the boys who have performed in Libera(1:07:30). Sam was bowled a 'googly' there

For those outside the UK you can use this link to access this show, but you will need a UK based VPN. https://www.mixcloud.com/TonyBarnfield/loretta-minghella-obe-david-hill-mbe-on-cambridge-summer-music-sam-coates-on-libera-much-more/

I'm out of town at the moment, but will try it out when I get home later to see if it works.

Thanks, Jimmy! :D

It can't be better than our sister site (being a boy's choir, would it be better to call it a brother site?) Libera Passion! https://libera-passion.exprimetoi.net/t ... embre-2021

That one is also excellent but it's in chronological order and makes somebody a little harder to find if you only know the first name.

How so? You can use the ctrl-f (command-f) keys to find all the names using any criteria you want. There are photos with each member and it is all on the same page. :D So even if it is not in alphabetical order the wonders of modern technology remove that hurdle.

The most important part of the interview:

"You'll also hear a couple of new tracks actually, some thing we're working on for a new record. Certain things that are yet unheard. In fact, a couple of them actually were started by Robert as kind of sketches and I've finished them off, and we're going to perform a couple of those this Saturday too." :D :D :D

NEW SONGS!

And of course here is the portion of the interview featuring Sam Coates and Libera.
