It's in their Libera Support Us page.http://www.libera.org.uk/support_us.htm

I wish they'd have a separate link for their Support Us, in the front page so people can see it faster.

They show Visa and Mastercard as acceptable means of payment so it shouldn't be a problem. I've used my Visa card all over the world and purchased things from UK websites without any problems.

Anyone interested in networking on FB via a group (or something) for LD? This is probably a moderator or Kevin thing to initiate, but worth throwing out--I'd join/support if a group were created on FB for us here...

Sounds like a noteworthy idea. I'll discuss it with the other moderators.

Alrighty, the group page is up and running. Here's the URL http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=83854104672" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

I've set it so that people have to get permission to join though anyone can see the group if they look for it. If anyone has any suggesstions on how to improve it, please don't hesitate to let me know. For safety reasons, I'd like to keep membership restricted to forum members. So if someone wants to join us, they need to register AND CONTRIBUTE to the forum.

All right, I'm doing some setting-up-shop things...bulletins and the like...do hope this is useful for connecting those of us on FB in one spot--none of the Libera groups are especially big (except the official FB 'Page'), but extending our community around here to FB seemed like a sound idea...

If the above link isn't working for you, just enter 'Libera Dreams' into the general FB search box (top right corner) and it should be the first entry on the page (has the standard picture of the boys as its avatar). tcliffy is the official admin and will have to approve all new members...this is to ensure membership is restricted to the community we already have here.

So if you're on FB, go forth and join!

^ yeah, the only problem is that I don't know everyone's actual name here. So I'm not even sure if everyone I accept is from the forum or not.

Agh--yes: a problem for sure...

A couple of possible solutions--

* When submitting a req to join the group, we could require a pm to you (tcliffy) with the person's forum handle and real name...

* Or, if not comfortable with this, we could require a pm to tcliffy including some random word ("Ecclesiastes", for example) with the request...although I suppose that's STILL revealing your real name...

...err, well, I guess there's no way around that, although you can bet tcliffy and the other moderators (and admin) are 110% trustworthy.

How about that--a pm with the person's forum handle when submitting the request?
