Tricky one this because I have naturally selected from the one's I have already experienced in concert - There could be lots more on a wish list they haven't yet performed at concert level...

1. Glory to Thee
2. Gloria
3. Aways With You
4. Sanctus
5. Voca Me
6. Dreaming of Home
7. Stay with Me
8. Ave Verum
9. The Prayer
10. I Am The Day

2nd half opens with Lament as they boys walk down the middle walkway with the lights very low making their way on to the stage...

11. Libera
12. Orinoco Flow
13. Mysterium
14. How Great Thou Art.
15. Be Still My Soul
16. Love And Mercy
17. Sacris Solemnis
18. Mother of God
19. Eternal Light
20. How Shall I Sing That Majesty

It's the best Enya song they have ever covered that's for sure.

Well you might as well just stick with Enya. Angel Voices 2 version was just a straightforward cover with no embellishment from RP. No disrespect to DG who does an admirable job of emulating Enya's fluttering sound - but this did not really do justice to his own voice.
If it came down to a choice between the two I would pick Exultate.

Having undoubtedly incurred Yorkie's wrath with my last post, here's something else to occupy his mind:

Name five musical pieces which you would like Robert to arrange for Libera.

Here's my list:

Totus Tuus (Gorecki)
Adagio (Barber)
Adagio from 5th Symphony (Mahler)
Halleluliah (Leonard Cohen)
Song for Athene (Tavener)

Not sure why a direct copy of the original is such a problem Oflow, Dreaming of Home, and the Beth Neilson Chapman stuff are all the same as the original. Lullabye too iirc...

I know Yorkshire women have the reputation for being formidable battleaxes, but that picture is clearly a bloke in a dress!

It must be your feminine side showing through all your posts

Listening to Evening Falls right now and what strikes me... is that to my ears the ideal soloist would in fact be a non-Libera boy, Ben Crossley from Tewkesbury Abbey Schola Cantorum. I heard him sing last month and his voice also has that soft, otherworldly nature. If you ask me, what would musical heaven sound like I'd say: wait maybe a year (and a half) and then have him record this song.

Also, I like john45's question: what other pieces would you like RP to arrange?
(RP = Robert Prizeman, for all newbies on the forum ;-))
Let's see if I can come up with some. But maybe it's better to open a different topic for it.

My top 20 songs in no particular order for Libera concert would be:
1. Time
2. Sancte
3. Sanctus
4. Lacrymosa
5. I Am The Day
6. Eternal Light
7. Song of life
8. Wayfaring Stranger
9. Vespera
10. Salva Me
11. Recordare
12. Going home
13. Adoramus
14. You were there
15. O Sanctissima
16. Lullaby
17. Sempiterna
18. Dies irae
19. Stay with me
20. Far away

If it would be possible, then I would put Time two times in list - in the beginning and in the end of concert :)

This is the only recording of the song that has ever been made by them .

"Sailing" is another song they recorded previously in the pre-Libera era I'd like to hear them sing again. "San Damiano" is another.

I have just been doing some cleaning and i found my first ever concert program (well a A4 Sheet of Paper) from 2008 and it actually struck me that since 2008 not a whole lot has changed . When Robert does bring back old songs they are normally ones that have been in a concert set list before . I am wondering if there is a reason for that ?
