Re: Summer Concerts 2022 - Brighton & Chichester

By the way, Libera's e-mail from Monday with the concert announcement was the first message if have received from them since I registered for the mailing list almost two years ago. Hope it helped :P Same here, I've never received an e-mail from them. But still, it's too late to get a good seat. I w...

Re: Summer Concerts 2022 - Brighton & Chichester

As much as I would like to attend these concerts, there are other events that require my personal attendance. :( I hardly think that the concert in Ely can be topped within these few weeks. The two scheduled concerts are therefore, more likely to be a variation of the Ely concert. Certainly interest...

Re: Boys Choir Festival - Nuremberg - 18 June 2022

I haven't been able to get a ticket on time. When I checked on Monday, ticket sales were offline. :(
Is there a way to lay my hands on a video of this concert?

Re: Concert in Ely Cathedral, May 2022

I wonder if they will sing Beethoven's "Ode an die Freude" in the original German 🤔.

At least Peter had some problems with his speech in German in Vallenda back in 2016.

Re: Japenese Libera?

I mean this as kindly as possible... but they have some work to do, to reach Libera quality levels. I couldn't agree more. A white hoody and a sailor suit do not make a good choir. If this is a newly founded boys' choir, the number of boys is also limited, and you have to work with the material you...

Re: Concert in Ely Cathedral, May 2022 (?)

May is still a relatively long time away. To what extent the Omicron variant or newer variants of the Coronavirus will affect the situation is not yet foreseeable. For this reason, I am not yet concerned about whether the concert will take place or not. I wouldn't want to book hotel and flights unti...

I don't want to pour water into the wine now, but in the meantime the omicron variant has arrived in Europe.
This variant can put a spanner in the works for many.
