Re: USA spring tour 2015...

I know I'm not known here on the forum, but I'll be at the Chicago concert. I'm excited, but nervous as my sister, brother-in-law, and their kids are driving down from Minnesota which is about a 6 hour drive (without figuring in traffic). Just my sister and I are going to the concert though - the &q...

Re: Rock on to support Libera

Wow, that's pretty cool! Way too much for me (though it'd be awesome if I could), but there's gotta be someone out there who will want it. It's got kind of a neat story behind it too. 8)

Re: Angels Sing: Libera in America (CD, MP3)

A shame that Sam's voice has now broken so i am wondering if How Great and Wayfaring will be part of the April set list. Voca was stunning and Tom always stands out to me with his strong powerful voice. Aww, Sam's voice has broken? Forgive me, I haven't been able to keep track of this group of boys...

Re: Angels Sing: Libera in America (CD, MP3)

I am a bit surprised to say that my favorite was Wayfaring Stranger as well. I don't know how to describe why I like it so much, but it's almost got a haunting melody and quality to it, and I think the soloist picked for it was perfect! (I'm not as familiar with this group, was it Sam?) I also liked...

Re: Anthony Muresan

Wow! I love how he's so expressive with his hands too, not like some soloists who almost look like stone when they sing. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but you can tell that he feels the music and connects with what he's singing, and I love it.

Re: Wonderful World Preview

It doesn't look like like a typo as they put it on its own separate line of text. Good point. I thought maybe they meant 16 instead of 15 though? It does seem odd that they'd word it "again later in 2015" unless they meant again in 2015 (as opposed to later in 2016). I'm probably overthin...

Re: Wonderful World Preview

I never noticed the "again in the US later in 2015" part. I wonder if it's a typo? I absolutely LOVED the "What a Wonderful World" video though, and am super excited to see them in concert this April!

Illinois is only two states away from you, Lux! :)
Has it? Well then, a road trip may be in my future! Ahh, hope and potential happiness...they feel good.

Re: USA spring tour 2015...

The fan base is building for them to return and it's great! I'm really excited that LIbera is returning to the US, but have to say that I'm just a bit disappointed that they're focused in on the east and south again. Granted, they have had awesome turnouts there, but I just wish they'd give the mid...

Re: Songs of Praise 50th Anniversary celebration

Meh, that's too bad. I don't know if what TullyBascombe said is true, about how it may have originally started out as a multidenominational format, but I hope it keeps its focus on the more traditional ones anyway. No offense to anyone here, this is my personal opinion and I have my reasons for it, ...

Re: Libera goodies for sale

Ordered the autographed book, a t-shirt, and a few other trinkets. Will take a few weeks to fly 9,000 something miles, I guess. Post your pictures! :D Ohhhh, I'm jealous! I saw that there was an autographed book, but evidently it is already sold out. That's okay though, as I've already sp...

Thanks for the article hannah_kirstin. I haven't kept up with what's been going on with his music, but it looks like he's doing some great stuff! Not surprising though, eh?

I got my stuff today! Didn't order the book (yet) but the hoodie is very nice. Would love to see pictures of stuff that anyone else gets, especially the book.

Re: USA summer 2014

I would LOVE to hear some traditional hymns and songs, so if that's in the rumours that'd be absolutely awesome. The "old" Libera classics would be nice too, like ones from the Libera album (the orangeish-yellowish one). To be honest though if they recorded themselves singing almost anythi...
