Re: A newly uncovered not seen before (possibly) video

Did I understand Terry Wogan to say that Sing Forever was written specially for the Children in Need submission? Or is it just that the choir submitted a song they already sang for that occasion?

Re: Luca Brugnoli

He really did. It's great to see good quality recordings of him singing live - you can see the passion and expression he puts into it and his interaction with the accompanist - and it just makes it clear that he's in his element. I know this has been mentioned before but Luca's range of repertoire i...

Re: UK Cathedral Concerts in 2024

Glad you're better. :)

Thank you everyone for your quick responses and advice. That's an excellent point about not wanting to rush off at the end (and of course if the cathedral is full it might not be easy to leave quickly anyway). I'll factor that in to my plans if I manage to get a ticket.

Re: UK Cathedral Concerts in 2024

I've been sick at home all weekend plus today with a nasty cold, so this is exactly what I needed to cheer me back to good health. Hope you feel better soon. I'm glad this news has come at a good time to cheer you up. I'm hoping to be able to go to the Chester Cathedral concert and I was just wonde...

Re: 2023 - Two UK Concerts in December

Beautiful. Thank you Luckdragon for the information and in2dwww for the link. As everyone has said his voice is still do clear and he still makes it seem effortless though I thought I could hear a slightly deeper tone in his goodbye at the end. I have a question that those who've seen Once an Angel ...

Re: 2023 - Two UK Concerts in December

So the current core group of boys (11-12 year olds): Joseph, Julian, Hal Pietro, Thomas S-H, Sammy W Morgan, Nathan, Lewis P Edward, Theo, Thomas M… Would Cameron also be in this group? It seems from reading reviews that he's just starting to come into his own as a soloist tough again how much long...

I particularly enjoyed the full page about Kizuna  I am a huge Dr Who fan, though I never thought of it while listening to the song... but now I will thanks to you !

You're welcome! I hope that is a positive!

Thank you to you and Surpinto for your lovely comments.

Re: Forever (Spring 2023)

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. :) Part 2 Beati – I was curious about this one as I knew it had divided fans at last summer’s concerts. I could see how it might come across as a little frenetic on stage but as an audio track I really like it. I love the short intro with Luke and Nat...

Re: Forever (Spring 2023)

So I've nearly finished writing my review of Forever and have found it's getting out of hand length-wise. So I'm going to post it in at least 2 parts, maybe more. I found I'd written nearly a page on Kizuna alone which isn't even technically on my version of Forever so I decided to post that separat...

Re: Luca Brugnoli

Has he made studio recordings of all of them? Including the ones that aren't on Rise Up? I guess as to why he does it, live performances also bring something different. If he genuinely enjoys performing and presumably he does, then that shines through in a live performance in the way it might not i...

Oh of course not, it is never too late! Please do it! I still have this on my to-do list as well :D

Re: Forever (Spring 2023)

Lux Aeterna, was there another page to this insert? I don’t see Steven Gerahty listed. I checked the booklet and Steven is not credited in this album. How strange. Was Steven credited in the Japanese version? My CD has finally arrived! Is it too late to post a review? It feels like a long time sinc...

Re: Forever (Spring 2023)

Thank you. :) No idea if that's right or not but it seemed to make sense. Pre-ordered or not - there are going to be no CDs left at the rate the boys are getting their hands on them! They'd better not have taken mine. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow as expected I'll know why! Which boy should we blame...
