Re: 22 June 2019 - Arundel, UK Concert

Hi everyone ! I read some of you talking about a medieval tournament in Arundel Castle Saturday, and so I checked it up. My grandma and I will be attending. :D Does someone know how to book a taxi in the United Kingdom ? Is it easy or not ? There is more than half an hour of walk from the station t...

Re: Libera "The Friendship Tour" (Philippines 2019)

The language used is a bit more sophisticated than usual... So I'd assume it must have been written by an older boy. It's between Alex, Nat and Sam for me. :)

Re: Libera's Official Fan Club in Japan

To go a bit further to help fans to register on the Japanese FC, I share here a pdf I made to help someone. This is an excellent resource Patrick!! :) Thanks! I'd also like to add (in case anyone is not aware) that if the internet browser you're using is Google Chrome, there's a function built into...

Re: Libera's Official Fan Club in Japan

This was already the case with "For the Future" on the the Japanese version of Beyond which required ordering a Japanese version of the CD - although we were lucky and the Japanese version was on iTunes for a brief while before it was removed. I somehow doubt that a song would be recorded...

Re: 2019 US Summer Tour

So here are my personal 4 options: 4) The two concerts in the LA area. Pros: 2 concerts, only 1 round trip flight, I've never been to California in my life so this would be a totally new experience. Cons: Higher potential costs as LA is much more expensive than the Midwest, lots of travelling or ma...

Re: New Christmas CD in 2019

But, for singers like Tadhg, Dominik, and Ben B. whose solo voices are yet to be recorded, this may be the only opportunity to hear them. Tadhg's voice seems to have developed quite a rich sound, so I'm hoping his voice doesn't break before the recording or the upcoming tour to the U.S. I don't kno...

Re: 2019 US Summer Tour

What is important here is that the Christ Cathedral staff is confident the major works in the main cathedral will be advanced enough to allow concerts there, before the libera event. As a tourist it is a great news, the ex-Cristal Cathedral is a mythic place to attend :) I very much look forward to...

Re: 2019 US Summer Tour

I've searched everywhere for the date so I can make plans and save the money for it. I hope they announce the dates soon. If they get them out before the end of the school year we can probably get the word out to schools and colleges before they break for summer. I know there are several colleges a...

Re: Musical education

So, the ABRSM exam is not something that is done as a standard over here. Quite common, in contrast, is the participation at music sompetitions. There is a very big one for Germany as a whole, called "Jugend musiziert" ("youth makes music"), and other regional ones. How about ot...

Re: Musical education

I took the ABRSM exams for piano when I was a kid. Generally, my piano teacher would start preparing me for the exams a few months in advance. But for the rest of the year, I'd play an assortment of other pieces appropriate for my level. So my piano repertoire back then wasn't necessarily just limit...

Do any of you know the names of the songs they are playing? Alex G.: "Up on the Hill" by Nikki Iles Dominik's second piece: "Tugela Rail" by Dave Brubeck (I took both infos from a Youtube comment.) From the piece before, I'm pretty sure that Dominik is capable of improvising (ev...

Re: New Christmas Album Speculations

Said it before and I'll say it again... "Stille Nacht" please! :D Other than that, I hope "Once in Royal David's City", "O Holy Night" or "Amazing Grace" could find their way into the upcoming album. I'd place "I Saw Three Ships" at 70/30 chance (alt...
