Re: "Walking In The Air"

To stray back on topic, here's Sean Holshouser doing Walking in the Air. He recorded the audio in a studio and did a lip-synced video with his dad on piano, so he could enjoy expressing his acting talents! For me the point you know whether treble is going to nail this song is when they sing the word...

Re: "Walking In The Air"

I think we are in agreement that there is certainly a difference in style between opera and cathedral choirs. What I disagree with is putting boys in boxes and labelling them as "boy sopranos" or "trebles" as if the terms weren't interchangeable. Aksel for example was train...

Re: Other Choirs, Singers, Musicians that you like

Steffan Llewelyn is quite impressive. Unfortunately most of the videos of him performing seem to be recorded on a phone's microphone. However he has a reverb nation account: https://www.reverbnation.com/steffanllewelyntreble although the recording isn't great on some of those tracks either. https://...

Re: "Walking In The Air"

I don't know if I get this right: What is the difference between a soprano and a treble? Am I right that soprano means the "studied" voice and treble is merely the highest part in a song, but the treble way of singing is not the technically trained way as a soprano would be? There is no d...

Yorkie wrote: It sounds like we are (for maybe the first time ever  ) in agreement then. Opera is the problem and nobody should sing it
Do you like musicals then? I saw the Artful Dodger played by a woman once, which was kinda sad.

Re: Libera at Christmas - EP

Got my copy today and it is indeed Alex Montoro :) Well done to whoever the 'somebody' was.. little to go off to make the link but they called it right in the end. Congrats to Alex M for his debut solo recorded to CD & digital download. Whoever sung the Silent Night solo has a great voice. I kn...

Re: Libera safety ?

Perhaps that came over a bit critical. Clearly the boys like receiving appreciation from their audience and its a good thing they get to receive compliments from their fans. I am sure it is a difficult job balancing promotion with the desire to protect their privacy.

Re: Libera safety ?

As a new fan I'm sorry to say this is something that does concern me. In some meet and greet fan videos on YouTube there are occasions where some of the boys do look uncomfortable with blokes shoving cameras in their faces. To be honest I'm not even sure they should be routinely publishing the boys'...
